Abstract
Due to the lack of research on the efficiency of health resource allocation at the micro level in Zhejiang Province, this study utilized the super-efficiency Slack Based Measure (SBM) model to assess the efficiency of health resource allocation in county-level Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals in Zhejiang Province in 2021. We also constructed three spatial econometric models to investigate the key factors influencing the efficiency. The research findings revealed that the overall health resource allocation efficiency was relatively low and exhibited significant variations across different counties. In order to effectively enhance the efficiency, it is essential to not only prudently regulate the inputs of health resources under the premise of output orientation, but also scientifically manage the total amount of general public budget expenditures, the number of sports venues, and the number of beds in pension service institutions, while fully leverage the spillover effect of efficiency.
